Marhaban, welcome to the new site. I am so glad to welcome you to a new updated and snazzy website designed by Creative Cubed. They have done an awesome job and I love it. As you will notice the idea of Souk has evolved somewhat, Souk C used to only showcase my artwork and designs, but now as things in my life have changed and evolved I will be bringing on other designers that speacialise in other forms of beautiful and inspiring goods.

Of course as I am juggling motherhood and a double degree please do be patient as little things on the site are worked on piecemeal.

I’m not too avid on the blogging but am always coming across really interesting designers and artwork/objects so I will be sure to post some links and pictures. Here is a new designer I came across recently, Matali Crasset – she is a french industrial designer and has such a unique view on design. The idea for Souk Collective formed whilst living in Morocco in 2001. The idea was to start a company to market inspired art/object/designs worldwide for a discerning market and enrich people’s lives and homes with things that remind oneself of the Divine and beauty in this world. It was appropriately named “Souk Collective“. Souk in Arabic means ‘Traditional Marketplace’
